    Workshop: Teaching Materials in the context of Sustainable Development

    Workshop Instructors: Dr. Tatiana V Vakhitova and Dr. Pippa Newby
    This workshop is aimed at Materials Researchers interested in expanding their knowledge of Sustainable Development and also at those interested in teaching Materials and Sustainable Development.
    Due to huge interest for the workshop we decided to open 5 additional spots for participants.

  • MUSIC PERFORMANCE BY POLAR CIRCLES

    For all participants of Junior Euromat 2016, you are invited to join a barbecue night on 12 July 2016 (Tue) where you
    would have a great meal and wonderful dining ambiance because a Swiss band Polar Circles is invited to perform their original musics on that night!

  • Fees & Registration Process

    Fees

    The registration fee for full Congress participants includes admission to all conference sessions from July 10-13, conference documentation and program, admission to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, admission to the Closing Ceremony, coffee/tea/water during breaks, and the Barbecue on Tuesday, 12.7.2016.

    The registration fee for Tutorial participants includes admission to tutorials on 14th July of choice (2 half-day tutorials), tutorial documentation, coffee/tea/water during breaks.

    Registration cancellation policy:
    Delegates cancelling before April 30, 2016 will receive a refund minus a 50 € administration fee
    No refunds can be made for cancellations from May 1, 2016

    Abstract Submission

    Abstract must be submitted by 5 April 2016 via the registration site.
    The Scientific Committee will decide on qualification of the abstracts for the Conference and will classify them into 12 minutes talk, a 5 minutes talk or a poster. You will be informed about the decision by the end of April 2016.  If you have submitted your abstract by the official deadline, you will in any case be entitled to pay the lower early registration fee.

    Abstract must cover one of the following topics:

    1. Functional Materials
    2. Structural Materials
    3. Design, Processing, Manufacturing & Recycling
    4. Energy, Transportation and Environment
    5. Life Science and Health
    6. Modelling and Characterization

    Tutorials

    Tutorials are offered on Thursday, July 14, 2016. The tutorials give a detailed insight in the particular topic and are organized and conducted by specialists in their field. You are asked to specify a morning and an afternoon tutorial of your choice when registering for the Conference.

    Requirement for the execution of each tutorial is a minimum of 10 participants. Should the tutorial of your choice not be executed, you will be offered an alternative or get a refund.
